Where does Hardwood Come from?

Hardwood deckboards are typically manufactured from trees that are grown in sub-tropical regions such as Central America,India and Africa.  There are many different types each with their own subtle characteristics. Being a very slow growing timber,its grain is dense and incredibly durable,Making it ideal for commercial and high end finish deck projects.

The most common types used for decking are; Yellow Balau,Ipe,Iroko,Garapa,Mandioqueira,

Siberian Larch and Western Red ceder.
